Safe Seal

AFM Safe Seal is a multi-use, waterbased, low gloss sealer for highly porous surfaces such as particle board, plywood, processed wood and porous concrete. Used primarily to reduce toxic outgassing: in particular, it is highly effective at sealing in formaldehyde outgassing from processed wood such as plywood, particle board and pressed wood. Safe Seal is virtually odorless on application and odorless once cured.

Hard Seal

AFM Hard Seal is a multi-use, clear gloss sealer especially formulated to provide mar resistance to both low and high porosity surfaces. Because it forms a continuous membrane when applied properly it is particularly effective at sealing in any pollution or toxic chemical compounds outgassing from the surface to which it is applied.

Grout Sealer

AFM Grout Sealer is a clear, moisture resistant sealer for porous tile grout and other cementitious surfaces. It actually reacts with and becomes a part of the grout, increasing water resistance and minimizing the penetration of liquids, helping to prevent staining and giving a wearable, washable surface. Like all Safecoat products, it is as safe and not toxic as possible, formaldehyde free and virtually odorless, giving off no offensive chemical fumes. Dries clear without discoloration.

Lock-In Wood Sanding Sealer

AFM Lock-In Wood Sanding Sealer is a unique, fast drying, sandable sealer especially formulated to reduce raising of the grain on raw wood when waterbased finish products are applied. Lock-In also helps to prevent bleed through of naturally occurring oils, tannins, turps and resins in wood. This is especially important for appearance and for those with sensitivities to such bleed thru materials.

MexeSeal

AFM MexeSeal is a low odor, waterbased, medium gloss clear sealer. It is suitable for use on porous interior tile or masonry surfaces where oil and water repellency are desired. It is ideal for long term protection against food, oil and water stains on residential or commercial floors. MexeSeal is non-hazardous and non-flammable - a total replacement for high solvent content systems.

Watershield

AFM WaterShield is a clear, versatile, controlled penetration water repelling sealer which provides an invisible barrier against water and resists oils, grease and similar liquids. It is fast drying, has excellent adhesion, and is easy to apply. In addition to sealing and providing a protective barrier against water migration, it helps to harden, dust proof and control efflorescence in masonry surfaces. It is not toxic, non-flammable, lead and formaldehyde free and does not contain surface contaminating silicones, making it a desirable coating for interior or exterior use. May be used on painted surfaces and may be painted over when dry. Dries clear and does not discolor.

Dynoseal

A low-odor, paint-on asphaltic membrane. Creates a waterproof coating for shower stalls, pools, roofs-anywhere moisture collects. Adheres to concrete block, metal and wood. Needs a topcoat for protection from ultraviolet rays from the sun.    

X-158

AFM X-158 is a premium quality, clear liquid coating for prophylactic use where mold and mildew are likely to appear. It is not a cleaning agent, but a clear defensive sealer designed to encapsulate surfaces which would typically be subject to mold and mildew attack. Because it is not toxic and low odor (odor free when dry), it is ideal for use in unventilated, confined areas such as shower stalls,bathrooms and saunas. Yet it is durable enough for use on roofs, air filtration systems and spa decks. It may also be used on countertops, walls, floors and ceilings. AFM X-158 coating applies quickly and simply. One application lasts between 30 and 180 days, depending on the severity of the conditions.

Internal Wood Stabilizer

Internal Wood Stabilizer (IWS) is a non-toxic, non-flammable, penetrating alkali activated silica aero gel, that seals, waterproofs, hardens, and preserves most wood products. The catalyst in IWS reacts with the alkali present in most wood, forming an internal seal and water barrier. IWS will not alter the color, texture, or any other physical characteristics of the wooden surface to which it is applied. IWS leaves a clear natural finish and no film or membrane on the surface. IWS retards seepage, dampness, molding, fungus and warping. IWS provides a prepared surface for better bonding of varnish, stains, paint, and mastics. However you use it, IWS is highly effective and versatile in a wide range of commercial, industrial, and residential applications. Coverage: 1 gallon does about 150-300 square feet.

Internal Concrete Sealer

Internal Concrete Sealer (ICS) is a chemically reactive penetrating concrete sealer and stabilizer. ICS is NOT a surface sealant - it is an internal concrete sealant working deep within the substrate. ICS contains a proprietary catalyst which when it contacts moisture within the concrete it reacts with the free alkali (lime) and calcium hydroxides already present to form a silica gel on the surface of voids and particulate in the concrete...the gel then impregnates through the entire depth penetrated. The gel is waterproof within hours but in ensuing months the gel hydrates into crystalline glass, turning the entire depth penetrated into a solid impenetrable mass. Coverage: 1 gallon does about 100-175 square feet.
